Description
A prominent energy corporation listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange is seeking a highly qualified Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director (CEO/MD) to lead its operations from Lahore. The selected CEO/MD will be responsible for steering the company towards achieving its corporate goals, enhancing profitability, and driving growth and diversification within the energy sector, including both conventional and renewable energy sources.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Management, or Financial Management from a reputable institution. A minimum of 20 years of experience is required, with at least 7 years in a senior management leadership role within the energy sector. Candidates with advanced degrees and certifications related to investment, finance, or project management will be given preference.
This role demands a deep understanding of the business landscape in Pakistan, including knowledge of local and international laws, and the ability to navigate regulatory frameworks. The CEO/MD will be responsible for formulating and implementing strategic business plans, identifying investment opportunities, and managing financial allocations for projects. Strong negotiation skills are essential, as the role requires interaction with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and investors.
This is a contractual full-time position offering a competitive salary, estimated between PKR 1,500,000 to 3,000,000 per month. The contract is initially for three years, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
