Description:

Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University (SBBU), Shaheed Benazirabad, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Accountant for a PSDP-approved project titled Extension of Facilities at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Shaheed Benazirabad. This position is on a contract basis, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial transactions, budgeting, and financial reporting for university projects.
  • Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare financial statements, audit reports, and budget estimates.
  • Oversee development project finances and ensure proper allocation of funds.
  • Work closely with government and semi-government agencies for financial reporting.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education:
    • At least a second-class Master’s Degree in MBA (Finance) or M.Com from an HEC-recognized university.
    • Professional Accounting Qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
    • Experience in University, Government, Semi-Government, Autonomous Bodies, or a reputable private organization.
    • Preference will be given to those with experience in development projects.
